Basic bookkeeping and expense tracking tutorial for small businesses using Excel spreadsheet files.

I am about to purchase quickbooks proadvisor program, and take the course to become certified, and was wondering if everytime i get a new client if i have to purchase a new quickbooks program for each client? How hard ia quickbooks to learn?

I was just wondering how real entrepreneurs handle their bookkeeping, accounting, and taxes. Do you hire a firm or CPA? Do you hire employees?

I currently have a small business and I do most bookkeeping and taxes myself, but I am looking to potentially hire someone to do this. However, I am worried that it might be too costly.

Can you tell me how much you spend on your accounting or CPA services?

I am starting up a website business from home and money will be largely generated via advertising and also through customers paying to place classified ads.

What method should I adopt for bookkeeping i.e. a spreadsheet or some sort of software? What kind of information would I need to record for this type of business specifically?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best UK or international software for basic bookkeeping. I’m starting a business and will be doing the bookkeeping myself. Problem being I’ve never done it before!

I want to go to college and study accounting. After that I hope to earn my CPA then have some experience in the work field. I then hope to open a tax and book keeping business.
Will it bring in a decent amount of money?
How much would you say you could make of such a small business?

My friend owns his own business and he is very unorganized and he has asked me to help him get organized. I have no bookkeeping experience and I need to know what I need from him to get him started. He doesn’t know what his business brings in or how much is spent. Not everyone gets receipts and he has a hard time getting his employees paid on time. I want to help him, but don’t really know where to start.
I have quickbooks already. I need to know what type of documents I need from him to get him organized and to be able to continue doing his bookkeeping and payroll.
